As you can see Dalton was all about the wagon/trailer.  He filled and dumped it for hours.

Olivia just loved being outside, played more than she helped and ran many errands inside for different things. 

Now that they've outgrown the wagon, it serves another purpose!! 

Makes me sad to think about it.

It was a wonderful day spent outside with my three favorite people.  I'll be sad to see summer go, but Fall is feeling pretty nice.  At least my yard looks nice (until the leaves decide to fall)!! 

Not hip Enough for Feathers

So, went to Olivia's hairdresser and got the adult version of her cut!!  It feels so nice and it will cut my drying time in half!  So, I'm not hip enough for a feather, but I tried the cut.   

Haircuts, Feathers and Urgentcare

Well, Wednesday started off really nice with new haircuts.  After a "trim" by Olivia herself, we decided it needed to be all evened up, so Miss Alison gave her a really cute haircut followed by a feather.  Who knew feathers were all the rage!!

Well, not long after these pics, Olivia cut her knee on the recliner in the living room.  Not sure exactly how it happened....  Anyway, it was just deep enough it needed some attention, but maybe not stitches.  So, after two hours at UrgentCare, we came home with steri-strips.  The nurse did mention stitches before the doctor looked at it and Olivia went to pieces.  So, thank goodness for a little thing called steri-strips.  It's funny how a night can change so fast...   

Happy 7th Birthday Olivia!!

Well, our plans for the waterpark were rained out, like every other birthday pool party this year. Instead I took Olivia and three of her friends to Chuck E. Cheese and shopping in the mall. When Olivia suggested shopping, I thought "how can I handle shopping with 4 girls"?? Well, they done great, plus one of the parents generously offered to go with us! No siblings can make for trying times when you need an extra person to tag along. Dalton had also invited a friend over to go to the waterpark, but since it was rained out, Brian stayed home with the boys and played video games. I guess 8 year old boys are too old for Chuck E. Cheese! The girls still had fun!

Shopping at apparently all 7 year old's favorite store--- Justice!

Back to our for Pizza and Ice Cream Cake..  Yum!

She was trying to share her pizza with Brian.   

Funny, they all bought fuzzy slippers at Justice and had to put them on as soon as we stepped in the house!  Okay, well, maybe on the way home!

After accusing Olivia that she wasn't smiling, this is the reaction that I received.  Well, it's better than not smiling!

They even had a little playtime outside. 

So, even though it didn't rain for the rest of the day and we may have been able to go to the waterpark, we still had a great time!  Can't believe my little girl is already 7 years old.  Happy Birthday Olivia!

First Day of School 2011

I can't believe I have a 2nd and 3rd grader.  They really do like school, even if they say their favorite subject is recess!  I am so proud of both of them.  They both do an awesome job.

Well our S's are harder to pronouce as we go into second grade!!  Can't believe school starts in a few days and summer break will be over!   

Family Vacation 2011

Our Vacation started with a weekend trip to see Brian's cousin Dustin and his family in Indiana.  They have three sweet little boys (Daniel, Devin and Dawson).  They played so well together.  We did a whole lot of visiting and a whole lot of eating, it was insane.

Kids had a great time on the slip and slide.  Daniel and Dalton were so competitive. 

Olivia and Devin were just having fun, I guess that's what happens with the second child..

When we got back to Kentucky, we took the pontoon boat out and spent the day with our good friends the Clemons.  This is Cleo, Tiffany, me and Olivia. 

Dalton, James and Jude had a ball (Jude must be jumping off the boat). 

We just had fun jumping off in the middle of the lake.  That until the storm came about lunch time. 

We pulled the boat out of the water (while it was raining and lightening) and headed to Nolin Dam Pavillion.  We had a great time.  We grilled out and the kids played in the rain. 

They had a ball, playing in the rain in their swimsuits, just being kids.

We came back just the four of us on another day and had a great time.  We had a picnic lunch and just cruised the lake, jumping off to get cool and cruising some more.

They are crazy, but having a great time!!

Of course, they talked me into our own slip and slide.  It's so hard to have a pool with all the trees, but a slip and slide works great!

The secretly have a good time together!!

Brian and Dalton also went fishing with a Chris Newkirk and Dalton caught the big fish of the night!!  They are growing up way too fast... I remember going with my daddy fishing at that age.  I don't think I ever caught a fish that big!     

So, we had a great week with family and friends, just hanging out having a good time!
